LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Coyne Carts & Powersports (“Company”) provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty for new electric vehicles and associated batteries or vehicle chassis to be free from material or workmanship defects. This is a PARTS AND LABOR WARRANTY for the original purchaser.

Coyne Carts & Powersports hereby warrants to the Original Purchaser, subject to the provisions, limitations, and exclusions contained in this Limited Warranty, that any new vehicle or new component purchased from Coyne Carts & Powersports shall be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the periods stated below.

WARRANTY PERIOD

The warranty period begins on the vehicle’s retail date of purchase.

For commercial and rental fleets, please refer to the Rental/Commercial Limited Warranty.

COMPONENTS WARRANTY COVERAGE

• Aluminum Chassis – Lifetime
• Steel Frame Chassis – 5 Years
• Lithium Battery – 8 Years (Full Replacement*)

Transportation or offsite repair costs within a 25-mile radius of the selling dealer are included.
Transportation or offsite repairs exceeding 25 miles will incur a charge of $2.00 per mile to the customer.

EXCLUSIONS

This warranty does not cover:

• Routine maintenance, normal wear and tear, tire wear, brake pads/shoes, brushes, and bushings
• Damage resulting from neglect, abuse, accident, unapproved parts or accessories, vandalism, or acts of nature
• Repairs not performed by Coyne Carts & Powersports
• Transportation costs to/from service locations more than 25 miles from the selling dealer
• Fuses, light bulbs, lubricants, trim pieces, paint, and seating
• Cosmetic deterioration or items that deteriorate or fail due to environmental exposure or ordinary wear and tear
• Paint fading due to chronic sun exposure and/or improper storage

WARRANTY VOID CONDITIONS

The warranty may be void if the vehicle or battery shows signs of:

• Neglected maintenance or use outside the intended purpose
• Use of non-OEM (unapproved) parts, modifications, or alterations
• Non-approved electrical installations.
  
  

SOLE REMEDY

If a defect arises, Coyne Carts & Powersports will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective part with original OEM parts or reconditioned parts at factory option.

Defective parts replaced under the terms of this warranty become the property of Coyne Carts & Powersports and must be returned upon request.

LIABILITY

Coyne Carts & Powersports excludes liability for indirect damages, including but not limited to death, injury, or property damage arising from product defects.

BATTERY WARRANTY AND SPECIFICS

• The amp hour warranty period is recorded by Coyne Carts & Powersports and/or the battery manufacturer.
• Battery warranty claims require testing by Coyne Carts & Powersports and/or the battery manufacturer.
• Non-factory additions made directly to batteries will void the warranty.
• The 8-year full replacement battery warranty applies solely to personal-use vehicles and excludes commercial and rental-use vehicles.*

RESERVED RIGHTS

Coyne Carts & Powersports and its manufacturers reserve the right to inspect vehicles, modify designs, change suppliers, or modify the warranty policy.

This warranty is provided by Coyne Carts & Powersports and the specific part/material manufacturers. No exceptions or modifications to this warranty are valid without written approval from Coyne Carts & Powersports or its manufacturers.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE, AND COYNE CARTS & POWERSPORTS MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE THAT EXCEED THE OBLIGATIONS OR TIME LIMITS STATED IN THIS WARRANTY ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED BY COYNE CARTS & POWERSPORTS AND ARE EXCLUDED FROM THIS WARRANTY.

THE REPAIR OF THE DEFECTIVE VEHICLE OR COMPONENT THEREOF IS THE SOLE REMEDY OF THE PURCHASER.

COYNE CARTS & POWERSPORTS MAKES NO OTHER REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, AND NO REPRESENTATIVE OR EMPLOYEE OF COYNE CARTS & POWERSPORTS HAS THE AUTHORITY TO MAKE OR IMPLY ANY REPRESENTATION, PROMISE, OR AGREEMENT THAT IN ANY WAY VARIES THE TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY.

WARNING

ANY MODIFICATION OR ALTERATION TO THE VEHICLE BEYOND FACTORY SPECIFICATIONS, INCLUDING THOSE THAT AFFECT THE WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION, STABILITY, OR SPEED OF THE VEHICLE, CAN CAUSE SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH AND WILL VOID THIS WARRANTY IN ITS ENTIRETY.
